Proposal 1 · National Coverage

One national partner for Diageo

Approach, governance, structure and management.

Where things stand

Diageo currently engages four contractors nationwide for overflow work. That means four standards, four points of contact and four invoicing relationships. Morepour proposes a single national alternative: one partner, one standard, one point of invoice, with streamlined operations and easier resource allocation.

Why Morepour can carry it

Morepour has been in this business for more than fifteen years, and Diageo already knows our work: a consistently strong presence in the southeast built on highly trained technicians. We are now replicating that standard nationally, and we are doing it deliberately: meticulous recruitment, references checked in person, and senior management travelling to oversee every new technician's integration. Directors and managers are based in the Northwest, operating from our Manchester depot, so the expansion is led from the ground, not from a head office.

The clearest proof of readiness is that we already do this at national scale. Morepour recently won a national contract with BOC, a project worth several million pounds, covering not only the work across the country but the call centre and work allocation side of their business.

Reach

Two main depots, Gatwick and Manchester, feed sub-depots in East London, Southwest London, Slough, Bognor Regis, Southampton, South Wales and Durham, with contractor depots in Coventry, Wales, North Essex and Glasgow. Technicians are based within roughly thirty minutes of a sub-depot, which protects both response times and their working day.

For overflow, we use a network of contractors who have worked alongside us for years, and we hold them to a tighter standard than our own teams: more frequent audits, photo evidence of completed work, weekly calls and monthly performance reviews. Our relationship with Brunswick, already known to Diageo, is the model, and it can be replicated wherever we need trusted partners under the Morepour banner.

One point of invoice

A single national invoice, submitted as agreed on sixty-day terms. Morepour shoulders those terms and pays our contractors on thirty days, which keeps solid, trusted firms working without the strain of extended payment. We would suggest twice-monthly invoicing so both sides keep tight control.

Governance you can see

We would keep the weekly call with the Diageo Technical Ops manager, which has been valuable to both businesses, and add a quarterly review covering SLA compliance, audits and stock. Stock is ordered centrally, with monthly stocktakes across all vans and depots and a quarterly physical count, all of it shareable with Diageo. Customer satisfaction ratings gathered after installations and service calls are shared at the quarterly reviews. We are confident we can improve on the targets currently being met nationally, with clear and transparent reporting throughout.

Events

Event work is priced well in advance so Diageo can budget accurately. We understand the need for presence at high-profile events and will wear Diageo uniforms where required. Morepour has delivered installations for major events on tight timescales for years, and during that work we represent the brand we are serving, never ourselves.

The people

Morepour is run by four directors with more than seventy years combined in drinks dispense.

Scott Daniels Thirty-two years in the industry. Built and sold his first dispense business, then grew a corporate technical dispense operation from nothing to £2.8m turnover in three years before founding Morepour.
Andrew Pottinger Twenty-five years in the business, from trainee to senior technician to manager. Leads our digital presence, which has made Morepour a personable brand rather than just another dispense company.
Ben Snewin Managing Director. Built the administration and operations team we believe is the best in the industry, and leads the call centre and planning function.
John Kellington Financial Director. Has grown businesses from £25m to over £50m turnover, with deep experience financing and managing growing companies.
